In recognition of our design quality, AboutKidsHealth receives a Gold award in the W3 competition and a Silver Davy award.
2008
IWK Health Centre in Halifax is the first hospital to join our collaborative national partnership among paediatric hospitals across Canada.
2009
AboutKidsHealth receives a significant contribution from Citizenship and Immigration Canada. This enables us to translate the entire site into French and Chinese (simplified), with selected articles in Arabic, Chinese (traditional), Portuguese, Punjabi, Spanish, Tamil, and Urdu.
2010
AboutKidsHealth receives a substantial contribution from the Public Health Agency of Canada that will support us for three years while we create a business model that will sustain us into the future.
BC Children’s Hospital and Children’s Hospital of London Health Sciences Centre join our collaborative national partnership.
