Art contest a healthy success!
This fall, AboutKidsHealth.ca invited grade 7 and 8 students from the Toronto District School Board to participate in an art contest titled “Healthy Body.”
Suggested topics included:
- 'Things that are good for my body'
- 'Healthy body, healthy mind'
- 'How do I stay healthy?'
- 'How my body works'
The contest was a success! We received over 100 submissions from 20 different schools. We thank all the students who participated. A big “Thank You!” also goes to the teachers for allowing their students to be a part of this contest.
We hope everyone who participated had fun working on their beautiful pieces of art and also learned one or two interesting facts about health and nutrition.
