The Astral 150 ventilator can be used for bi-level positive airway pressure (BPAP) therapy. The device blows air under two different pressures through a mask. A higher pressure is used to help fill the lungs with air when breathing in and a lower pressure is used when breathing out to prevent the airway from closing.

Complete a learn circuit on the Astral 150
A learn circuit will calibrate the device to the specific circuit type and mask type to make sure the device is working properly. The ventilator will require a learn circuit to be completed as part of troubleshooting and for any circuit type changes such as when switching from a heated circuit setup to non-heated circuit setup.
Watch the video to learn how to perform a learn circuit.
